"Love for others, and especially the poor, is made concrete by promoting justice." – Pope John Paul II

The Catholic Lawyers Guild of Kansas City is devoted to providing charity work and services to the local community and the Church. Through our members and other volunteers, the Guild works to make its resources within the legal profession available to those in the community who are in need. In addition to pro bono services, the Guild sponsors other events such as an annual high school essay contest and is planning an annual fundraising event for local charities. The Guild is always looking for members of the Church and the community to join us in our effort to advance the mission of Christ in this world through works of charity. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer your time or support us through sponsorship.

Pro Bono Legal Network

The Guild is currently working with Catholic Charities of Kansas City – St. Joseph, as well as other local Catholic organizations, to establish a pro bono network for purposes of providing legal services to the less fortunate and to those in need. More information will be posted in the future but if you or your organization/law firm would like to be involved in this endeavor, please let us know.
